Background in the hospitality, travel and airline industry. Worked abroad in several positions
in tourism, peacekeeping and aviation.
Entered employment of Schiphol in 1989 in the strategy and physical planning departments.
Since 1996 in the corporate communications & public affairs department, as senior press
officer, head of internal communications and since 2009 as senior (strategic) advisor.
In charge of strategic communication projects, editing corporate publications, international
relations and representations. Member of the Annual Report steering team.
Schiphol Group is an airport company with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as its main airport.
With 68,5 million passengers in 2017, Schiphol is the third largest airport in Europe in
passenger numbers. Schiphol began its < IR > journey in 2011 and has since then received
several prestigious awards and recommendations for its reporting efforts.
